Report of a Case of Complete Situs Inversus Associated with Ventricular Septal Defect and Pulmonic Stenosis

Abstract

|
This report describes a 24 year old female patient who had complete situs inversus associated with cyanosis. The patient suffered from choledocholithiasis for 1 year and abdominal operation was performed. A gall stone of 1.5X2.Ocm in size was detected in the common duct. On the fifty second, postoperative day the patient died suddenly. The postmotem examination revealed dextrocardia with complete situs inversus, ventricular septal defect of 1.5 X 2.0 cm in size and pulmonic stenosis (infundibular type).
